Many of you may be puzzled about why I am so spiritual and faithful, posting all these quotes from the Bible or lyrics from worship songs. As a matter of fact, it is not me who is faithful and spiritual, it is God! I can’t even count how many times I have forsaken God believing that I am self sufficient, or being well aware of God when I am committing a sin. Yet God is faithful and pulls me closer to him day by day.
Being a Christian, God has provided me with many fruits. Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not trying to preach a prosperity gospel or anything, or actually I might argue I am. The problem with the prosperity gospel preached at various churches around the world is their focus on the current world and their lack of long-term awareness. I do have a prosperity gospel for everyone in which I believe, and this is that God will provide us with infinite prosperity when we reach a place known as heaven. I believe that God’s plan for us to prosper does hold even when it is “taken out of context” but only when we know we are saved for sure (Jeremiah 29:11). However, in the meantime, living a Christian life here on this short-term near-end-times upside-down-valued world will mean suffering and testing of our faith which develops perseverance and perseverance must finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:2-7). We must rejoice when we are suffering and being tested as we know that perseverance is doing its job.
Nevertheless, the audience of this site is geared towards friends, relatives and strangers (you are always welcome) who are seeking for God, young in faith or wondering why I’m living life this way. I will try my best to invite the Holy Spirit to speak through me but if you believe there is anything I write that is against Scripture, please feel free to leave a comment or message me directly as all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
